Groups

How to use groups for advanced show configuration.

"Groups" allow you to put a set of routines together that are related, thematically or otherwise. A group of routines will stay in one continuous block in the show order, while allowing for improvements to quick changes where possible.

Groups are a very powerful tool, as they have multiple options that can be configured.

Click "Switch to Ordered" or "Switch to Unordered" to control whether the routines within the group may change position relative to each other. The status of this option is indicated by the arrow icons on the right side of the routines and in the routine summary. An unordered group allows for the routines to rearrange relative to each other, while an ordered group will maintain the same order of routines (even if the group itself is moved around in the show order).

Use the "Lock" icon to fix the group in place, or to allow it to move about in the show order. In the example screenshot above, the group is locked, meaning the three routines will not move from those assigned spaces (though they may be reordered relative to each other).

Use the "Restrict to Act" feature to keep a group from crossing over an intermission boundary in the overall show order.

With the right combination of these options, you can control where your group is positioned in the show order and the relative position of routines within the group.
