What Types of Data Can I Import?

We accept data in CSV and Excel formats. You should have one line (or row) in your data file for every routine-performer assignment.
Performers who appear in multiple routines must have identical names across all occurrences in your data file. The same applies for routine names. This is how ShowSort determines what unique routines and performers are involved in your show.
A single header row is optional, but highly recommended. Multiple header rows are not supported at this time. ShowSort will attempt to automatically detect if your data has a header row, but you may override this setting when importing your data.
The following is an example of how data should be structured in the file you upload on the Create a Show page. This example includes a header row.
Routine Name | Performer |
Dance Like Nobody's Watching | Ariana Anderson |
Dance Like Nobody's Watching | Brooke Butler |
Dance Like Nobody's Watching | Chloe Carpenter |
Dance Like Nobody's Watching | Daniel Davis |
Sing Like Nobody's Listening | Ariana Anderson |
